Projects and References
Here’s a brief introduction to our project achievements and our vision for the future, which focuses on developing sustainable cities and rural areas.
Sustainable Development
Under the name MAITIM e-Energy, we have joined a group of providers offering modern solutions in the fields of sustainable development, renewable energy, and electric mobility. We offer innovative, high-performance, functional, and high-quality solar LED street and road lights, as well as universal charging stations for electric bikes under the BI-charged brand.

BI-charged
Charging Stations
for electric bikes
With the rapid increase in the number of e-bikers and the development of bike infrastructure, several new projects are being planned, including new cycling paths, bike storage facilities, and parking spaces. Charging stations for e-bikes are becoming a crucial part of the e-mobility infrastructure, and they will soon be installed at public transport stops, encouraging the use of public transportation.
In collaboration with leading Slovenian experts and designers, we have developed the universal BI-charged charging stations, which are functional, safe, stylish, and technologically advanced. Their modular design and various mounting options allow them to adapt to urban, rural, and mountainous environments. In addition to e-bike charging, they also support charging for electric scooters, two-wheelers, skateboards, hoverboards, and even wheelchairs. The stations come with numerous upgrade options, including solar-powered charging capabilities. We also offer charging lockers, ideal for high-traffic areas with limited space.

BI-charged Charging Stations at Velika Planina
E-bikers can charge their e-bike batteries at one of four BI-charged lockers located near the cable car station at Velika Planina. Each charging station is single-use, designed for households, and features freestanding bike stands that securely lock e-bikes in place.
2x Charging Station at the Arto-Blanca hydroelectric power plant
E-bikers can also charge their e-bike batteries in one of the two charging cabinets at the HE Arto-Blanca (hydroelectric plant on the Spodnja Sava). The BI-charged stations are single and free-standing with two brackets that also serve as e-bike stands, to which they can be safely locked with a lock at the appropriate opening.
Charging Station, municipality of Donji Andrijevci, Croatia
E-bikers can also charge their e-bike batteries at the BI-charged charging station in the municipality of Donji Andrijevci in Croatia. The BI-charged station is single, intended for users within one household, and free-standing with a bracket that also serves as an e-bike stand.
BI-charged charging stations in Brezje
From August 2020, e-bikers can charge their e-bike batteries in the BI-charged charging cabinets at the Church of Marija Pomagaj (Slovenia’s National Shrine of Mary). The stations are single and free-standing with two brackets that also serve as racks for e-bikes.
BI-charged charging station in Lendava
BI-charged charging station in Turjak
E-bikers can also charge their e-bike batteries in the charging cabinet in Turjak (at pizzeria Rozika, Turjak 17, near Veliki Lašče). The station is single and free-standing with a bracket that also serves as a stand for the e-bike.
BI-charged charging station in Trnovo near Nova Gorica
E-bikers can also charge their e-bike batteries in the BI-charged charging cabinet in Trnovo near Nova Gorica. The station is single, with one button locker that allows 4 users to charge their e-bikes at the same time, and free-standing with a bracket that also serves as a stand for an e-bike.

The modular charging locker is crafted from high-quality, powder-coated stainless steel (INOX) and securely houses all electrical components, connectors, and electronics. It features two 230V outlets and two USB ports, allowing users to charge not only e-bikes but also smartphones, power banks, or other small USB devices. If the charger is fixed to the e-bike, it can be connected via the appropriate cable.
solar power
Solar LED lamps
street and road
Our solar LED street lights operate completely off-grid, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming electrical cabling. This allows us to bypass complex permitting processes for power connections, along with the expenses of digging and laying electrical wires. The lights feature a modular design and can be easily mounted on poles, traditional lampposts, or walls. Powered solely by high-performance solar panels, they are an eco-friendly solution that helps meet the European directive on CO2 emissions.
This lighting is not only efficient but also minimizes environmental impact.
