Profession - career & my common thread
My career has not followed a straight line. And, to be honest, I am glad it hasn’t.
I started out in journalism and then moved into our family business, where I learned to build websites and online stores, write for different purposes, communicate with people, clients and business partners, manage business and other projects, and independently set up and run a small e-commerce and dropshipping operation.
Along the way, I wrote and self-published a literary novel, created a wide range of digital content, took part in public discussions and eventually returned to the sport that had been part of my life since childhood.
Today, all these experiences share one common thread: I like to research, understand, create, organise and turn ideas into something real.

ORGANISATION & EXECUTION
Working in a small company taught me something very useful: sometimes there is simply no one to tell you how something should be done or how a task should be carried out. You have to figure it out yourself. That is why I know how to research an idea, break it down into manageable steps, find a solution and see it through to the desired result.

In December 2016, my first novel was published – Lovilka sanj, a 304-page romantic travel story.
I managed much of the project independently, from developing its online and promotional identity to organising book presentations and communicating with the media and other collaborators.
Key activities included:

• creating a new WordPress and Elementor page
• setting up and writing a blog
• creating a free e-book to grow the follower base
• setting up email marketing using MailerLite
• preparing and publishing promotional content

Qualification: Professional Worker 1 – Sports Coaching, Artistic Roller Skating. Qualification obtained on 19 September 2021.
I am a coach at Kotalkarski klub Pirueta Domžale.
My sporting journey began in childhood. I trained and competed in artistic roller skating until the age of 18, winning the title of National Champion seven times.
Other notable achievements:
• 3rd place – European Cup, 1997
• 4th place – European Championships, 1997
• 5th place – European Championships, 1998
• 10th place – World Championships, Australia, 1999
Sport has taught me discipline, perseverance, responsibility, working under pressure, working with children and communicating with their parents, leading groups and events, and building progress over the long term.

Throughout more than 20 years of working life, I have never looked for shortcuts or excuses. I have learned to be organised, courageous and productive, while always remaining attentive to people and the environment around me.
I have learned to look for practical and effective solutions and to build knowledge in situations, challenges and circumstances that were not always simple – both in life and in business.
Words, people, brainstorming, perseverance & practical solutions
Curiosity has always pulled me beyond the boundaries of a single field.
I am interested in people, their stories and the ways in which we make sense of the world. That is why I enjoy reading and exploring the social sciences, psychology, communication and culture. I love travelling, discovering different perspectives and learning – from books, from people, from nature – and drawing inspiration from the endless well of stories written by our lives.
Sport has also always been an important part of who I am. I grew up on roller skates, competed and travelled the world. Today, I have returned to the sport as an artistic roller skating coach, choreographer and co-organiser of events.
Sport has taught me many things that I also bring into my work. But perhaps the most important lesson is this: Progress is never the result of one great moment. It is the result of perseverance, repetition and the willingness to try again.
